The Presidential Scholarship program for 2024/2025 aims to support students from Grade 1 to GCE Advanced Level (A/L) who face financial difficulties. The scholarship focuses on helping students from different districts with educational needs. The list of selected students has now been released.
For each district, there are separate lists for students from Grade 1 to Grade 11, as well as for those in the GCE A/L level. Students and families from districts like Hambantota, Kegalle, Badulla, and many others can check these lists. Some districts, like Colombo, still have pending lists, which will be updated soon.
This initiative by the President’s Fund highlights the government’s efforts to ensure that talented students facing financial challenges can continue their education. The scholarship gives many students the opportunity to pursue their studies without worrying about financial burdens, making it easier for them to focus on learning.
